About the Guests:

Leticia Cariño

Leticia Cariño is an international physical education teacher from Spain with experience across Europe, Asia, Africa, and the United States. She has taught in countries including Cambodia, China, the Netherlands, the U.S., and Côte d’Ivoire, working primarily within international school settings and the IB Primary Years Programme. Her work focuses on meaningful, student-centered physical education, cultural inclusion through movement, and building community across diverse school populations, and she is an active contributor to the global Meaningful PE community.

Wyatt Franz

Wyatt Franz is an international physical education teacher from the United States with over 15 years of experience teaching in global school settings. His career has taken him to countries including Myanmar, Saudi Arabia, Mexico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands, where he has worked in diverse international school communities. Wyatt’s teaching emphasizes meaningful physical education, lifelong fitness, and adaptability, drawing on his experiences across cultures to create inclusive, engaging programs that encourage students to stay active beyond the classroom.

About the Host:

Dr. Aaron Beighle

Dr. Aaron Beighle (beat-lee) is an internationally recognized expert on physical education and school-based physical activity promotion at the University of Kentucky. With extensive global experience, Aaron regularly collaborates with schools seeking to elevate their P-12 physical education and physical activity promotion efforts. He has written more than 100 research-based and practical articles as well as six books, most notably Dynamic Physical Education for Elementary School Children, now in its 20th edition. He also contributes extensively to Dynamic PE ASAP (dynamicpeasap.com), a leading resource for evidence-based physical education and activity promotion.
