George Centeio is the Educational Specialist for Physical Education at the Hawaii State Department of Education, where he has led in providing guidance, professional development, and resources for over six years. With a decade of expertise in heart rate-based fitness training and education across schools, universities, and professional sports, George uniquely combines academic rigor with practical experience. His passion for empowering students and fostering a healthy lifestyle drives his commitment to enhancing physical education programs statewide. A former high school Physical Education teacher and experienced football, basketball, track and field, and tennis coach, George brings a comprehensive understanding of student needs to his role.
Dr. Robert Pangrazi is a Professor Emeritus at Arizona State University and an Educational Consultant for Gopher Sport. Dr. Pangrazi has been in the education field over 50 years. He began his career as a 5th grade teacher and was an ASU professor of physical education for 32 years. Pangrazi has published over 60 textbooks and 100 research and professional articles. He has been an invited speaker at nearly 500 national and international conferences.
